The web server that hosts AWalkerBit.Me was secured in a remote location in a former office complex in the South US. Sheldon bunkered down and was able to keep the site up & running to allow the pockets of survivors to keep in touch with each other. Last week we lost contact with him! A small scouting party made their way by foot to the office complex. Upon arriving they found evidence that a small battle took place in the parking lot and near the the entrance to the main building. Working their way to deep inside to where the computer room was the scouts ran into a few roamers that they quickly disposed of. Between the roamers that were left and the number of bodies in the parking lot a herd must have found the complex. When they got to the computer room the AWBM server was still up & running even though it was obvious that some type of skirmish took place in the room. Sheldon and the other techs were no where to be found; hopefully they were able to make their escape before being bitten. Assessing the situation the scout leader loaded up the server along with all of the nearby manuals & stacks of CDs. After a few days of travel the server was put back online in a new location in a rural area in the North-East US. While traveling back to the new location of the AWBM HQ the group encountered @Azhria Lilu who recently joined the AWBM team and was out getting supplies while the office complex was under attack. At the new location AWBM will be under the control of both her and @Kevin to ensure that survivors worldwide have a way of keeping in contact with each other. New additional techs are being sought to help out as well. With the new tech team in place there will be some changes to AWBM in the days ahead. Stay tuned and bear with us we continue working on the transition into the new HQ.
