Darryl Knickrehm and David Rees-Thomas here from the new speculative fiction magazine Waylines. It's a free web-based magazine that will feature four stories AND a short film each issue, in addition to interviews and more. You can check it out at http://www.waylinesmagazine.com
Issue 1 doesn't come out until January 2013, but we have a lot of surprises planned. We already have some special guests lined up for interviews. And fiction submissions are now open! We accept sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and anything in between, so if you are a writer, please submit.
The thing is, we love sci-fi so much that we're trying to incorporate other media formats too. So we're planning on showing short genre films as well. If you are a film maker, please submit. It's a great way to build an audience and get press on your film. It's also a great way to see some of the stellar short films out there.
We have lots of ideas in the works and already have a few surprises for issue one. We'll be launching a Kickstarter campaign on November 1. We a have a special treat in the works that will be only for Kickstarter supporters. So don't miss our campaign!
