Weird Vulcan Connection

I'm avoiding listening to the 'garbage' rhetoric and propaganda of Google searches on this matter. Many of these companies have gotten in the nasty habit of labeling everything that's unknown as a virus or unwanted.

Anyone have any experience with this domain I found connected to my outlook account via the sysinternals tools offered by Microsoft - and the tool known as tcpview?

XSSL.net is a hosting company. That it is showing "outlook.exe" as the process with your connection my guess would be that you were viewing an email with an image or something else that was hotlinked to the server instead of being attached with the email.

No emails. That was just after opening outlook. No add-ons. Brand new install of outlook.

no nada.

Other theories.

There comes a point where dismissing things as fiction becomes a little annoying ya know?
