Some of us are avid collectors. We not only seek out our passion but revel when we get something new. Depending on how compulsive we are about our habits, even a small tidbit of it can make us excited. With the holidays upon us once more, what do you hope to add to your collection? Did you buy it, find it or was it a gift from someone that understands your collection and the passion you feel? Do you go flea market hunting and yard sale browsing in search of your latest find or do you just browse and notice a new acquisition? Do you collect anything under the title or specific examples of it. Example: Collecting anything related to Star Wars and the Star Wars Logo vs only collecting Star Wars ships or Star Wars action figures. Do you collect images of your collection's focus or only specific artworks signed and framed? How do you keep your collection: 1. Do you have a special room or wall dedicated? 2. Do you build custom display shelves or buy custom display cases? 3. Do you keep your collection in boxes or closets? 4. Do you have your collectibles appraised and logged to a ledger? 5. Have you ever modded a normal device to reflect your collection? ie: computer mod, phone mod, etc... To you, What is the most important item in your collection? What item do you not have that could surpass your most important item? What is the least important item you have in your collection? If faced with a down-sizing, which item would be the first to go. How detailed are your collection records? Do you record all the details concerning your acquisition, photograph the item and keep a scrapbook on the collection? Do you just get it, set it and admire it? Does your collection invade other places in your life? Do you have collectibles in your vehicle, workplace or hunting cabin? It doesn't matter what you collect, if it makes you joyful.
