What do you think about software piracy?

What do you think about software piracy share your views here.

Acc to me it discourage the programmers and it should be strictly abolished.

It would be impossible to ever completely get rid of it.

File sharing will always exist..theres almost no way to stop it. My views on it is that it doesn't hurt me none. When they get in trouble, they will wish they didn't.

Ya I know that but at least people should by the software's if they can afford and if they think that software(and developer) deserve to be to be appreciated.

I think it should not be abolished because some programs you how to pirate such as photoshop... I bet you some of the people on this graphics forum is using a pirated version of photoshop

I can prove I own my photoshop. I have CS2 Upgrade disc I bought the day it came out at BestBuy. It was ~$500 at the time. I have the disc with all the video tutorials as well.
