1280. And I'm looking for a new monitor so I can go higher. This one's been refurbished once and is still kickin (knock on wood) and looks bright. It's a little Viewsonic. I'm considering a Samsung, but whatever it is... it's going to be CRT. I simply cannot work correctly on other techs.

Native resolutions blow.

Hehe...I have an LCD

But it's fairly low-end, so I have it set to 1024

*chuckles* No kiddin'. =]

But seriously it's better than just a few years ago when 800x600 was still the norm. Unfortunately it's still common practice to limit width of fixed width sites to 760px. But honestly that's fine by me, limited width makes reading easier.

BUT... as for program and game interfaces - especially MMOs where there's a lot of information and controls to have immediately available - it makes life a little more difficult. The limitation was actually a great reason to expand functionality, though. Most decent MMOs allow for a lot of UI customization so that needed features can be tailored to the player. Still... 1024w worth of customized features aint 1280w or 1600w worth. =P

1024, though... damn. I feel like an ox in a meth lab (er... Vesh?... the saying is "bull in a china shop") in Photoshop at 1280 - how the heck do folks deal?

Yeah man..I'm starting to think even my 1280 x 1024 is not big enough.. Next LCD I get will seriously be a Wide screen, so I can pull off 1920 across.
