Wildling is a 2018 American horror-fantasy film directed by Fritz Böhm starring Bel Powley, Brad Dourif, Liv Tyler and Collin Kelly-Sordelet, and co-starring James LeGros, Mike Faist and Troy Ruptash.
Anna spends her entire childhood under the care of a mysterious man she only knows as Daddy. He keeps her locked in an attic making her fear the Wildling, a child-eating monster that roams the outside. At age 16, Anna is freed by small-town sheriff Ellen Cooper who helps her start a new life as a normal teenager. But as Anna's body begins to blossom, her childhood nightmares return with a vengeance, leading to the conclusion of a terrifying secret.

A different look at lycanthropy with flags pointing to the connections of Ginger Snaps (2000) but with a modern natural take.
I liked it. Great production values and an interesting story that keeps you watching. Not a whole lot of gore but still werewolf in nature.
Wildling premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 10, 2018.
