As 2005 draws to a close, this is our fourth-annual Year in Review, the AllAlias.com team’s list of the top 5 Alias-related events of 2005:
Tomorrow, we’ll list the 5 Alias-related things we are most looking forward to in 2006.
Interestingly, none of the things we said we were looking forward to in our 2005 Preview turned up in our 2005 Year in Review list. We looked forward to the start of Season 4 (understandable due to the longer-than-usual hiatus), but overall only specific moments in Season 4 were notable. Elektra and Jennifer Garner on SNL were overshadowed by other Jennifer news: her marriage and baby. We looked forward to learning a lot more interesting stuff about SAB 47, but this didn’t really happen, and it wasn’t very notable. Also, even though we hoped for higher ratings for Alias due to its ‘Lost’ lead-in in Season 4, ABC’s move of Alias to Thursdays for Season 5 led to even lower ratings, and eventually to cancellation.
We also learned about Alias' cancellation during 2005, and this was very notable news, but won't affect us until 2006, so we'll talk about it tomorrow during our 2006 Preview.
