Chapter One~ A New Beginning
It was a peaceful day on the job. Vaughn came toward Sydney.
“Just got a message from Kendall it seems as if he wants to see us. Emergency Meeting.”
“Sure. Base Ops?”
“Yep. I’ll meet you there. I wanna check my e-mail. I'm waiting for my new update on some stuff I ordered.”
“Oh, what did you order?”
“Promise not to tell?”
“Of course.”
“I got a BIG discount on the Alias Season One DVD, on Amazon.com.”
“Cool. Well, I’ll see you at Ops.”
Then as Sydney was walking down the hallway. She bumped into someone she had yet to meet.
“Wow, Sydney Bristow,” the young voice exclaimed, “Nice to meet you. Chanel Marino. Do you happen to know where Base Ops is?”
“I happen to be going there myself. You can follow me.”
As they went toward the door to Base Ops, Chanel striding proud, her first day at the CIA, she knew she belonged. (A/N: Just a lil bit of the author… hehe)
AS she sat down in her seat, she looked at the faces around her. Her new co agents looked as anxious to get there missions as her.
Darien Fox looked the same as he did the year before. His jokes always seemed to crack Chanel up. He had always helped her out. He was a wiz at computers and his first mission that Kendall assigned him was with Marshall. (A/N: Yeah… Soon Syd, Wikky… Soon…)
To the left of Chanel was Sarah Macgyver. She was always so happy. She looked extremely prepared to work on whatever mission Kendall had assigned her. Her head was poised and her gaze steady.
The last face seated at the table was of Kristen Marsters. She looked as if she had been waiting for this day forever. As Chanel sat and thought about all her friends a loud noise was heard.
“Darien!!!” Kirsten shouted.
“Safety!” Darien shot back.
No, these people had not changed they were still the same old gang.
