That was kind of weird that last weeks promo wasn't in "In Dreams." I kept waiting for the fur line... "okay you can touch it, just once." Oh well, next week I guess... and this weeks promo looks really good. I expect great things for the next three episodes.

With the experience JG has gotten from being involved with so many different talented people, I doubt we'll see very much in the way of a visual difference with this episode compared to most. I also think with post-production she'll probably get a fair amount of help.

This episode was well written, just not action intensive. With Mirage in mind, the hints of Jack's illusions were very well done. On face value this was an average outing, but helped to set up the fabulous episode the next week, and hopefully end of the season.

I disagree that Bell has done a poor job. Ice and The Orphan were character pieces, and at that they succeeded. As action oriented Alias episodes, they failed. With the ability to finally have an arc episode I predict Bell will write the best episode this season. And for those that disagree...

First, I do agree that The Road Home was one of the more bland episodes of Alias. But I don't believe the blame should rest solely on the shoulders of Appelbaum and Nemec. I don't think the writers can do anymore than they currently are to be interesting. The Sloane plotline leaves so much in question one can help but ask "Why is he crazy" and what did Nadia see off screen when she decided to leave?
