Circumstances are always the key for me. My feeling is that S4 will either finish killing off the spyfam, J/I/S, as I loved them, or there will be an unexpected return to sanity after S3. The spoilers could tip either way. I only hope that the writers don't string us along for no purpose...

If the writing is as good as it was in S1 and S2 then the spoilers could be twisted to eventually be good. If the writing is like S3 Alias is toast in my opinion. The writing is rumored to be good, but sitting with the poison of late S3 isn't healthy for my optimism.

I read spoilers. Usually they don't tell much because they're so distorted. I guess I'm looking for hope which is why I got into reading them in S3. Spoilers usually are about coming 'bad' stuff that often is worse on screen than in the spoiler, so, spoilers scare me. :down:

You're very right. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was referring to Presidents who lose the election for their second term. I don't recall those ever running again.

The term of the presidency is four years. The US constitution was amended in the 1930's or 40's to limit a president to two terms. President Roosevelt had been elected to a fourth term and the opposition party wasn't pleased. If you lose an election you can run again, but they never do...
