here's my problem....even if there is some reasoning...like Jack knew Irina was alive...there is NO explanation for why Sydney and Vaughn don't question the discrepancy. Afterall, if it doesn't make sense to us, shouldn't not make sense to them? I don't think there's a way to explain that
