I have about 10.1 I know cams with 12 it's a bit better but you can get great shots with less.

Select and open the image you wish to use Select an image you want to turn into a brush, I simply found a 'Ink Splatter' on a search engine. Open the image in photo shop, duplicate the layer and delete the original background, you should be left with one layer that contains your image...
