Adobe Flex?

Has anybody out there started playing with Adobe Flex yet? It's something that most likely only the programmers & developers out there will have heard of by now, let alone play with, but the 'day job' company is considering jumping into it so I'm curious how many others have.

I'm old school where every byte counts and runtime is everything so frameworks go against the grain and seldom ever fit exactly in with what needs doing, but that wasn't what you asked lol, I've never used it or heard of it, but I've also no idea who the bands are in the charts these days.
