Blade Runner 2099

I had no idea a Blade Runner TV show was in the works. 
It's being financed by Amazon as an Amazon Prime exclusive 10 episode series to act as an official sequel to the original movie & Blade Runner 2049. Not much information is available other than Ridley Scott is involved with the project as executive producer. Apparently I missed the announcement last year entirely and am only hearing about it now because filming has been delayed due to the recent SAG and somehow that has led to the series getting pulled out of production in Ireland.
