Like Brother and Sister

Poor Syd. I love how caring Michael is with her. Not many 12 year old boys would be like that.

Reason why Julie had to fight Michael to bring the soup upstairs... after all he is 12 years LOL.... Different in some ways but still 12...

 Michael C. Vaughn! You go bring up soup to your sister/future girlfriend/ future wife/ mother of your future children!

Totally  that part!!! hehe... ^_^

I know I am slow, but is Laura dead? It didn't seem like it earlier in the chapter.
Excellent fic!
Can I get a pm?
PLEASE!

Yep since Sydney lost her mother when she was 6 years old (I think... correct me if I'm wrong) and in this chappy she's 6 years old... so...yeah  And I've added you to the PM list of course

First I'd like to apologize for not being around much... me is kinda busy... My fitness convention over the weekend was a blast!!! To top it all I went to fitness class last night and performed one of the choregraphies I'd remembered from Sunday... That was actually classy 'cause many people liked it :angelic: It's not like anybody would care what I tell her but whatever...

So...yeah... hmmm... I'm gonna be busy this week and next week... but I'll be updating...just posting everything in once here otherwise I'm loosing track ^_^

Now where did I stop??? Oh yeah... my dearest Dany is celebrating his 10th birthday tomorrow (Oct 19) and there's gonna be a lil party on Tuesday night (which means me misses Fitness class for my lil boy  but that's ok... I'll survive it... :angelic: )

Last year I bought him a Build A Bear in LA... and he loves that plush to pieces... So cookie surfed online and ordered some clothes... Happily they arrived yesterday and my neighbor went to pick them up for me at the PO (otherwise I'd showed up on his party without gift... and that's noooo good). The neighbor said it's a huuuuuuuge package... and I'm like WTF? 'cause I just ordered clothes... and figures they sent it with a dresser (just like the little house you get when you buy the bear)... :he: ... cool... He's gonna be so thrilled and I can't wait to see his face :woot:

There ya go... now... that I've bored you with my felgercarb... you may read the update :P

And don't forget to review!!!! :Please:

 your cookums

PS. This chapter might be a lil weird for some of you... so you're warned... if you don't like please don't tell me... ;)

Part 8

8th chapter Sydney 7 years, Michael 13 years

JULIE’S POV

I’m sitting at the table with my two children, doing homeworks; or at least trying to do so when Sydney is no longer able to sit still. I shush her down, saying her brother has to finish his too when a question of curiosity pops out of her mouth.

“Where’s the baby coming from?”

Sure that elicits a snickering sound from my son. While I argue with Michael he should do his homework instead of fooling around, Sydney gives me weird looks waiting for her answer.

“Why do you want to know that, sweetie?” I try to be modest but my son thinks different.

“I know! Can I tell her?”

“No you can’t… do your math” I order him but he’s not listening to a word I’m saying telling Sydney.

“They’re having sex” Enough is enough. A high punishment is due and finally he has given up his chuckling sounds whereas I’m also aware that I’ll have a grumpy son on my back for the rest of the day.

“What is sex?” Sydney c***s her head to the side in her most innocent way, looking over at Michael. I’ve though shushed him for the next couple of hour and he doesn’t dare move an inch. His head is ducked into his math’s book scribbling notes onto his paper pad.

“That’s when two people make love baby… but still you haven’t told me why you’re asking me”

“Mrs Thompson said that she’s having a baby and that it’s now growing in her belly. She showed us her belly and we could even touch it. How did the baby get in there?”

How come I have to go through that phase twice in my life? Is once not enough? It reminds me of the day when I visited Laura with Michael and I was carrying Sydney in my arms. Michael chose exactly that moment to ask me a funny question.

Flashback

“Mummy… I want a baby too. Can I have one?” he made laugh that day.

“You can’t have a baby Michael” I told him, tousling his soft hair “Only mummies can, which means girls or women if you like”

“Oh…” I sort of deadpanned him there and I can see the next question flicker in his eyes.

“Then you have another baby so I can play with it. I want a baby like Sydney”

“Why do you want a baby like Sydney, sweetie?”

“Because I like her… she’s cute… but I want a baby boy… baby girls cry!”

“And what makes you think baby boys don’t cry?”

“Because they are boys!”

End Flashback

Well that was only the beginning of our long talk that continued once we were back home.

I get up, walking over to the small library in the living room searching for the appropriate book to show her. Once I’ve found it, I walk back to the table, lifting her up on my lap.

“You see, when a mummy and a daddy love each other real much, they make love. Maybe some day they want to have a baby so they make love again.”

I point out to two naked figures in front of me, asking her if she knows the difference seeing the grown people on the printed page. She accordingly refers to a man and a woman, adding

“He has a pee-pee like Mikey” she giggles lightly holding her hands in front of her mouth. That got Michael’s attention hearing her speak his name.

“Yes that’s right… it’s called a penis and women have a vagina.” My explanation goes on and on until I’ve satisfied her needs. She’s quite a curious girl and I only wonder what our talk will be like in another four years. I sigh closing the book as she bounces off me.

“Mikey, come on…let’s go play” she pulls him along as I hear him protest midway.

“Mum please tell her to stop” he mumbles but doesn’t fight against her pleadings. I sigh heavily, knowing far well that soon another one of these famous talks would have to happen with Michael. He’s learnt a lot in school and is aware he can rely on me if he has questions though I can understand him not being comfortable around me.

I sigh again, turning around, facing my next job: cooking dinner.

End Part 8

“Where’s the baby coming from?”

Oh S*** this is going to be good!!

“That’s when two people make love baby… but still you haven’t told me why you’re asking me”

Good save

“Mummy… I want a baby too. Can I have one?” he made laugh that day.

You might want to think about that Micheal...

“He has a pee-pee like Mikey” she giggles lightly holding her hands in front of her mouth. That got Michael’s attention hearing her speak his name.

Cute

Wait my daughter is six, D***... This is going to suck!!!

Great update, thanks for the PM

I was like 7/8, and I kinda had learned at school but I still had doubts, so I asked my mother the big question. She was all embarassed. Now that I come to think of it, it was hysterical.

Great chapter by the way, I'm really loving this fic.

Syd asks a lot of questions for a little kid. And Michael's response was hilarious. :rotflmao: I can't wait till they get older. ;) That's gonna be interesting. :D Great job on the update and I can't wait for the next one! ;)
