Since no one else started one...

Another great episode last night. Some people might not have liked seeing a lot of repeat scenes from the season premiere, but I thought it was great, and very necessary. We got to see things from Kate's and Locke's point of views. What I am dying to know is, who did Desmond think Locke was, when he kept asking him "Are you him?" Did Desmond think Locke was his replacement in the hatch? It was obvious he must have been expecting someone because he asked him (I guess kind of like a password question), "What did one snowman say to the other snowman?" I also think Locke earned a little bit of trust from Desmond when he was honest and answered "I don't know what you're talking about.", instead of trying to B.S. a gun-toting maniac. Very interesting how Desmond was questioning Locke if any of the plane's survivors were sick and dying. I loved how we found out Kate was yelling for Jack from the air-ducts in the computer room when Mama Cass was singing. But still so many questions. Who is Desmond? How did he get in there? What is he doing in there? Also, he must not get much sleep if he is resetting that timer every 108 minutes. And what happens if that timer isn't reset using the numbers, which obviously add up to 108?

The Michael/Sawyer scenes were good. My one question was how did Jin get back to the island so quickly? Because if you used the closed-captioning, Jin yelled for Sawyer, off-screen, in the first scene immediately after the raft was blown up. Were there other "Others" out on the water that picked him up, silenced him, and took him back to land? I don't know. All I know is that next week looks great, as usual.

Also, did anyone catch that the shark had the same "DHARMA" logo on its tail that is seen inside the hatch on various pieces of equipment, on the food labels and on Desmond's jumpsuit? What is going on?!? Thoughts anyone?

Yeah, it was a great episode ... even though many repeats from last weeks season premiere ... but it did show what we didnt see and were wanting to speculate about ... you know ... I didnt notice the "dharma" logo on the shark ... wonder what that means???

Next weeks' preview looks great ... cant wait to see where JJ goes with this ... (y) (y)

I wish they had combined this episode and last weeks episode into a 90-minute premiere and cut some of the flashbacks.

I'm sorry, but the flashbacks are almost unBEARable this season. They don't tell us ANYTHING! So HOW did Jack get divorced? Not answered. Michael's story...DIDN'T REVEAL ANYTHING! I mean I LOVED the flashbacks in the first season, even when they doubled up, like Jack having 3, etc, but each flashback episode GAVE us something! These don't!

At first, the plot moved kind of slowly for me, especially with the parts in the hatch. I did like the expansion on Desmond, though. He doesn't scare me as much now. ^_^

And finally, some time on the raft! And OH MY GOD that last shot when the Others were coming... Holy s***! Shoot me now...

Season premiere was a bit higher in my ratings, but still a quality episode.

I thought it was brilliant. I loved it the whole time, and after I'd watched it I realized nothing had happened  My one wish is that they get us past that cliffhanger... sigh

I thought this episode was a bit boring but the last scene saved the episode. The hunters looked really scary but I'll be disappointed if they are the Others. I like the fact that we don't know anything about them and they are just this group who came and took Walt. I'm not ready to face them!

I hope they "forget" the people on the draft for a couple of episodes and tell as more about the hatch. It's full of interesting stuff; Desmond himself, the Dharma sign (I noticed the Dharma sign on Desmond's shirt but I didn't see it on the shark's tale. Good catch! ) the timer, the illness Desmond mentioned etc.

I watched it on tape, so I'll be going back to look at the shark. I'm terrified of sharks, so I didn't notice the logo. I wonder what it means. I thought the Kate/chocolate scene was one of the funniest of the episode. I'm eager to see the continuation of the Jin/Michael/Sawyer thing. It looks like they get their arses kicked.
