ldhi: Kelley!
Yeah, he's pretty opinionated! Remeber Kitchen Confidential? It was based on his book by the same name.Anthony Bourdain...I remembr seeing his episode on Top Chef....he was a little harsh
Oh, not bad. ^_^Thank you I'm glad to see you too! How have you been?
:rotfl: i forgot about that! i'll make sure to do that this weekend when they are stronger. :lol:Yay jsf!! That's great! Don't forget to let them walk on you
I hope the doctor appointment goes well tomorrow. It is. I go between completely freaked out and self-diagnosing a million scary illnesses, to realizing it's probably nothing and it's always gone away in the past after a couple days : shrug:
: lol: Well with Memoirs we had to force ourselves to turn it off.. quite different. It's not a fast paced movie by any means, but it worked for me.
eta: geez, trying to italicize something is quite a task! And I still can't do it.
How many do you have jsf?*giggle* baby goats!!!!!!!! :dancing: :w00t: *giggle* *sigh* but my sister took her camera back yesterday. *sigh*
 Well, don't wait till they're too strong:ro tfl: i forgot about that! :l ol: i'll make sure to do that this weekend when they are stronger. :l ol:
ThanksI hope the doctor appointment goes well tomorrow.
I think part of the editing problem was that I messed my italics for Munich!
Yep!:lol: I noticed you were having the same problem. I just gave up
I know, it's kind of sad. BTW, that's when I'll post my beach pictures cause it'll be easier for me.Our home is out until Wednesday. I miss it.
:baaa:Oh no. :con sole: for your co-worker and one :console: for you not knowing how to help her. :h ug: Maybe you could just tell her that you'll be there for her if and whenever she wants to talk about it...
I had a pretty good first day back, besides the homework. I got into the earlier Italian class so I'm done by 2:05. I'm pretty sure English is going to be a lot harder this quarter. But I will be done with my finals by Wed. again this quarter and yes I'm already thinking about that. And Monday night social tonight!: relieved: I hope you have a great first day back at school!
I'm glad you had a good Christmas. :smooch:I had the best Christmas...we went for a picnic day in a regional park that belongs to the county..basically it is a large area of hill and all sorts of greenery and a lake in the middle that is reserved as is :lovely:..it is beautiful!..and the best thing is!..we were smack in front of the lake and you could not see or hear any traffic :lovely:.....and we had a little miscommunication about the food and ended up with enough meat to feed a small army : lol:.....but it was a good time : nod:
72 mph, that's crazy.:grouchy: I slept like felgercarb. 72 mph wind gusts here ALL. NIGHT. LONG. I was certain that when I finally crawled out of bed, after waking up like 4 or 5 different times, that I'd have no electricity (but I do). The apartment was literally shaking some of the time... sticks and chunks of snow being hurled into the side of the building. And it's supposed to snow most of the weekend and be like 10 degrees.
:console:Gracie sent me a PM over at SD-1 entitled "Are you okay?" so I thought I should probably stop by here and say hi. I'm still alive but I've been way stressed out lately. The short version is that at the last minute my parents decided not to pay for school, so I've been scrambling trying to figure out money, I'm not excited about school, and I hate my job. I'm at school now, and I must say, I miss going to a private school! I can't go into details now because I have to get to class, but I have a break later so I'll try and stop by again. I miss you all lots and lots!! :h ug: :smo och:
 That's great!heee!!..this is cute!
Wow he's got some smarts. We're all fine here in Brooklyn, and Mr 5x5 is fine in Manhattan...no one seems to know what caused that gas smell. Our intelligent mayor had this to say: "Maybe it's just a really bad smell." : blink:
:telepath: :telepath: :telepath:I'm going to bed now. Hope everyone's having a nice Monday. :gro up: And if anyone has some spare :t elepath:'s, I'd gladly take them for my presentation tomorrow. :blushing: :frantic:
:telepath: I hope you feel better.I'm having that wierd chest tightness, uncomfortable breathing problem again inch: It always goes away after a couple days, and I've been experimenting with that inhaler they prescribed last time.. I think it helps a little, but I'm not doing it quite right yet I just tend to underreact to these things and wonder if I should go to the doctor onder:
It being your last semester. :console: for the family situation.I'm trying to organize some things. I've got one more week of freedom before I begin my last semester. :w00t: assout: I'm really excited about getting back to school because my family situation is driving me insane, but I am not looking forward to loading and unloading my truck or rearranging my room since they made us push everything to the center of the room before we left. I wonder if there's someone I can hire to do the grunt work for me.... onder: Probably not. Oh, well.
:telepath:'sMy mom will be having gall bladder surgery on Friday.
Oh, those are gorgeous Sally!and ..introducing...THE invitation.... : D
Awww. :lovely:*giggle* baby goats!!!!!!!! :dancing: :w00t: *giggle* *sigh* but my sister took her camera back yesterday. *sigh*
Math will be a little boring cause it's pretty easy, but the teacher is pretty good. I actually have all female professors this quarter. Italian should be okay and I have the same teacher so I know what she's like. English is going to be harder this quarter. We have 2 small/medium research papers and then a big research paper, plus an actual midterm and final on a different books. I don't think I'm going to be as fond of English this quarter, but it's my last lower division English class. Well 2 of my professors were talking about it so I checked and I have 2 in a row on Monday and then 1 on Tuesday and then if my English final was not going to be moved up I wouldn't have another til Friday. Luckily my professor has a conference on Friday so we are probably going to have it late afternoon on Wed.ldhi: Kelley! I'm sorry you have a lot of homework already--do you think you'll like your classes and professors though? I remember checking the finals schedule on the first day of classes too
Yes, please!Hey talula! Catch and Release comes out at the end of the month, you want to go see it?!
I actually would approve too. The SEC doesn't get as much love as it should. At least not in some parts. Whoa, Ohio State just ran the first kick-off back for a touchdown! I hope this isn't a blowout. I'd rather watch a close game. This will be one of the only times I approve of Florida winning because it's good for the SEC!
That all sounds like a pretty good deal! It'll be nice once you're done with the gen.ed. classes!Math will be a little boring cause it's pretty easy, but the teacher is pretty good.
