I do not know of this yellow cat with puple waistcoat, helen. I actually don't really know what a waitcoat is either, not to mention I can't even spell it correctly (i'm typing waitcoast). I guess like a trench coat?
Okay, I'm feeling better about dinner cuz the place we're going is a place I really like and they have the yummiest cheese fondues! I'm gonna go to Target quickly before hand and see if I can't pick up all the things I need without forgetting anything! See ya later tonight. :bye:
Good, that makes me feel better. I hope he takes the hint to lessen the emails. :lol:Talula and Mellie - :lol :. He's not a stalker.
So I said "Nothing much, just mooching about the house. And do you realise you've sent me 17 emails today?!?".
Hopefully the ?!? thing will say "Hey, back off a little" but also come across as light, not rude.
I loved the WestEnd/Vandy area near Hillsboro Village. There are lots of shops and great restaurants around there. My favorite restaurant in Nashville was always The Boundry. Anyhow, that whole area is about a 5 minute drive from downtown, plus near downtown they've developed two other areas with restaurants, lofts & bars called "The Gulch" & "SoBro" (that's Nashville's way of being NY, it stands for South of Broadway. ). That area is probably about a 15 minute drive from Opry Mills, a 20 minute drive to Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin, and between a 5-10 minute drive to Green Hills Mall (which is the more high-end mall there). Green Hills is another nice area, but I can't remember how many hotels are in the area. I can refresh my memory when/if you need more or other info.I think I could use some advice actually. I want to stay close to downtown. Someplace that won't cost SissyTalula and I 20 bucks to get to the cowboy bars by taxi, ya know? And I know that my family will be sketched out in certain parts that are technically close to downtown. I walked to some McDonalds one day, walking away from downtown and I was even a tiny bit sketched out (and I usually handle those things well, not like the girl from Real World who walked east from downtown Denver like 5 or 6 blocks and came home crying. Please. It's not ANYWHERE NEAR that bad. :lol . We tried looking for condos and didn't have that much luck. We found a B&B in a trendy little neighborhood, but it's only 3 rooms so we'd have to rent out the whole house and still not have enough room for everyone (10 people). One of our cousins lives there too so he should be able to help. But we'll definitely want to go shopping!
Ahhh. I see helen. Good to know.
I'm glad you enjoyed the movie! The movie was pretty good last night! It wasn't as dramatic as the previews made it look, but it was still very emotional.. a lot of the kids in the movie remind me of my own students, but the violence of the school was much worse than mine. My different ethnic groups generally get along, which is nice  But even the classroom number in the movie was the same as one of mine :blink :
Have fun! I love cheese fondue. My dinner is penne pasta baked in an alfredo sauce w/ mushrooms & asiago cheese. It only needs a few more minutes unti it's finished.Okay, I'm feeling better about dinner cuz the place we're going is a place I really like and they have the yummiest cheese fondues! I'm gonna go to Target quickly before hand and see if I can't pick up all the things I need without forgetting anything! See ya later tonight. :bye :
I didn't remember that cartoon until I saw the pictures. :lol:I'm assuming they changed it back, because the cartoons I watched on TV or video were named Top Cat.
I was right though - it was a Hanna-Barbera cartoon (I didn't say here, but I thought it was), which made me think it was American, and it is - how odd you never saw it! It got reruns here, I remember growing up and seeing it.
I know.. I keep worrying that some kid is going to pull the fire alarm during school tomorrow and we'll have to go outside :lol:ETA: Oh, :lovely: nsspense. I'm glad you got to see that movie and enjoyed it. And I'm scared about this cold too. I'll probably have to break out the fireplace!
Yum! I haven't had fondue in years!Okay, I'm feeling better about dinner cuz the place we're going is a place I really like and they have the yummiest cheese fondues! I'm gonna go to Target quickly before hand and see if I can't pick up all the things I need without forgetting anything! See ya later tonight. :bye:
