In the first season - I would have to say that I liked Will the least - but with the story line that he was given, I have to admit that it was pretty impressive.
Now it would have to be Marshall - great humor, great guy but there's just not enough of him for me to like him more ... and my two cent's worth - Dixon to get back on the field!!!!

Obviously, the bad guys are the least desirable. So, besides Lauren ... Sark tops the chart. Definitely not on my Christmas list.

i picked dixon. he just seems to have no real use this season. i don't like it. he needs something big to pull him back in.
vaughn was a close second. i hated him as the "ah who do i choose!?" guy and hated him even more if possible with the "grr i love sydney more" type s***. but until season three i was a die-hard s/v shipper so i can't completely turn my back on him.

I'll say Vartan's acting was serviceable in season 1, useful in season 2, and unfortunate in season 3, but he was back to useful (or serviceable+) in the finale when it counted. If he's going to have a furrowed brow he may as well be hitting Lauren with a tire iron or drilling holes through her.
Anyway, I take the point of the question as referring to the way the character is written. Marshal would be the worst for me. He had a few good "smart" moments last season but, as a few have mentioned, when you put him in "socially awkward" mode in the middle of a faced-paced, critical situation, you're killing the momentum and steaming the audience. That's not a good audience reaction.

I hated will! But now i love him and i hella miss him! i Don't know why but in the first season he just bugged, it wasn't untill like the middle of the 2 season that i started to like him. But i don't know if there is one character that i don't like; i mean lauren but come on that's a givin. And i like Sark, i mean he's a dick and cocky but at the same time he is awsome! And we really don't know anything about Nadia to not like her. But i do have to say there is something about her that bothers me, i just don't know what. But i love Marshel! i can't believe that some of you guy don't like him, he bothers my mom and step-dad though, but i love him i think he is soooo....funny! :lol: I love Vaughn too, i do have to say there were times when i wanted to smack him but he pulled through in the end. But, if i have to pick, Lauren all the way. She is really the only character that i REALLY don't like.

i havent seen the 3rd season yet ( ), so i dont know how will is in it, but i voted for him. he has always annoyed me. he did one good thing though, when he said (in the 2nd season) to vaughn something like: "whatever you guys have or don't have, it means a great deal to her. so i'm gonna make sure you respect that."
