Does anyone here like Liv Tyler? She is one of my favorite actresses!! She was SO great in Lord of the Rings and Armegeddon!! I just wanted to know if anyone else likes her too.

I hate Liv Tyler, but I liked Arwen in the first movie, not the second. She bugs me... her voice is weird and she is so ditzy (cant spell ^_^ )

Yeah!! I thought she was great in Armegeddon but was slightly disapointed that she wasn't in that many scenes in the 2nd Lord of the Rings. A beautiful and great actress!!

I agree!! I was disappointed that she didn't have as many scenes as I hoped she would.

Yeah, i thought she would have much more than she did as she was even on the main movie poster. But i haven't seen the 1st Lord of the Rings so hopefully she has more lines in that.

Why do so many people hate Liv Tyler or Arwen? I think she was REALLY good in Lord of the rings but a lot of people don't think so.

I think people don't like Arwen because Peter Jackson gave her a bigger role in the movies and people didn't want him to change the book too much. But I personally think that it is better that Arwen has a bigger role because then the people who haven't read the books understand Aragorn and Arwen's story better. I don't know that is just my opinion.

Yeah, in the book it didnt make much sense. You hardly knew who she was and then she was getting married. But they had their story in the appendix. So PJ just worked that story into the movie.

Actually, my favorite scene from FOTR is the chase scene with her and the nazgul. Even if she did steal glorfindel's part. I thought it was amazing!

That was one of my favorite parts of the movie!! But I still wonder what the movie would have been like if Glorfindel was there instead of Arwen.
