Make yourself a zombie on your phone or tablet!

Uh-oh! Is The Walking Dead's diabolical Governor (David Morrissey) about to go all undead on us? Not quite yet. This image is the first look at AMC's new Dead Yourself app (available at DeadYourself.com beginning January 7), which allows fans to zombify photos of themselves and others — complete with rotting teeth and flesh. And that's not all. When the show resumes on February 10, new episodes will reveal a special code that fans can use to unlock a fresh zombie part, which they can then incorporate into their ghoulish creations.

I asked two of the show's stars whom they'd like to zombify. Morrissey told me that when he first traveled to Atlanta to begin shooting, he made a stop at Graceland. "So I'd love to see an Elvis zombie," he says. "He's got the moves to shuffle down the street in his Vegas cape." But tough guy Michael Rooker, who plays Merle, surprised me by revealing he'd select Marilyn Monroe: "Even as a zombie, she'd be hot. I'd have to keep her on a chain."

When the zombie apocalypse hits, the last thing you'll want to be is a shambling, flesh-eating member of the undead. But until doomsday, why not find out how you'd look as a walker? Now with the Dead Yourself App for iPhone and Facebook, you can do just that. Here's how it works:

1. Take a photo of yourself with the app or upload a photo to DeadYourself.com
2. Add zombified eyes, mouths, and props from The Walking Dead
3. Share your new portrait on Facebook and Twitter
4. Vote for your favorites in the Walker photo gallery.
5. Come back every week following all-new episodes of The Walking Dead to see what new eyes, mouths or props have been added and zombify yourself all over again.

Ready? Your undead doppelganger awaits at DeadYourself.com.

That's not a good look for you, Kev :D

After this past week though it is exactly how I felt at the office yesterday though. I think I even found myself looking out the window with the same look on my face.

Post up yours! I know you've got an Android device.
