The writers did make it a point to show Will still loves Sydney. Are they telling us something? Will is ok but I don't want them together. Didn't they already did the love triangle on season 1? It will be a triangle if they pursue this story line. I think S/V will still be attracted to each other - even if they can't be together because he is married (which I really hope not).

I don't think Will has a 'thing' for her, but he does lover her, possibly more than he loved Francie (I forgot what it was that made me think that. I'll probably see it again when I rewatch it).
Also something else to note--Sydney found Will dead in her bathtub. Just like Danny...

1) Will is presumably OK...since Vaughn said so.
2) Syd found Danny at Danny's apartment, not hers...so it's not the same bathtub even though it definetly looks like it is.
3) Will still loves Syd, but I don't know what kind of love it is...it seems to be a more platonic, collegial love than the syd-vaughn dynamic...which is why I hope Vaughn isn't really married...it HAS to be some view of an alternate future or bad dream for torture or something so that it isn't real!

I thought it was very mean how Francie put Will in the bathtub just like Danny. She's going to be emotionally scarred now! Two men whom she has loved have been found dead/almost dead in bathtubs. I bet she's not going to take a bath for a while...And I don't blame her!

Yes, and remember the promo for "Phase One" with the blood smear on the tile wall? I thought perhaps Jack was going to be abducted from his dwelling and Sydney might find the blood smear in his bathroom with him missing--which would have been killer.
