    The STS-114 launch was one of the biggest events in Internet history, with 433,000 simultaneous webcast streams of NASA TV during the launch.

    i was round at ex-wifes with a dodgy pc, couldn't access the stream so ended up watching broken footage on the BBC 24hr news channel. but the embarked cams on the shuttle should make for some interesting viewing in future. because of the problems with the shuttle and the increased safety factors involved the amount of embarked cameras has gone up making this an event to easily remember
