.avi to .wmv

Ok so i want to know how to convert .avi's to .wmv's anyone know? i need to do this for my mp3 video player thingy all help appreciated 2 . And also .avi to vcd if anyone knows.

Did you try to use Windows Movie Maker? You might be able to load an .avi and then save the file as a .wmv....I know it might be annoying to do that for every .avi you want to do...

I will also check when I get home, I have alot of those little doodads that do things like that.

Google it. Found a few programs that do just that. Now I'm sure you prob already have done/thought about that and as far as info on whats good/better then the other that I can't help ya with.

If ya don't find anything I'll throw ya some links but again no idea whats good or not but you'll prob know more about it then I.
