At the beginning of the episode, Syd is bookin' it to a pay phone so she can call and tell the CIA that the tracking device is on Vaughn, and that he's been stabbed. Why doesn't she escape Simon and use her cell phone? It seems whenever she has to call the CIA, she uses a pay phone, but they always call her on her cell phone and ask her to come in for a debrief, relay urgent info, etc. Even Simon calls her cell phone. Why does it seem like Sydney is perfectly capable of receiving calls on her cell phone, but she can't use it to dial out?
