BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Shuttle return held for 24 hours
due to bad weather on earth the shuttle Discover will have it's return delayed for another 24hrs. Also two other landing spots are being considered as it can't very well stay up in orbit forever!
whilst the astronauts might feel frustration yet again, strapping into their chairs for their return trip and having to stand down for 24hrs, the opportunity to float weightless for another day in orbit and stare down at the earth must be recompense!
