In 1973, Alejandro Jodorowsky was set to make Frank Hurbert's classic novella "Dune", into a cinematic expierience.
Jodorowsky assembled a dream team which consisted of Dan o' Bannon (darkstar, Alien), Jean Giraud Moebius (tron, alien, the fifth element), H.R Giger (alien, species), Chris Foss (classic science fiction book cover artist, and designer)......
It would have starred David Carradine, Salvador Dali, Orson Wells, Mick Jagger, Udo Kier, along with many other talented actors...
However, the film was never made...
