BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Europe ice mission lost in ocean

an ESA launched satellite from russia was lost several minutes into flight and dropped into the ocean. apart from the sever amount of money lost in the project, a lot of scientists projects and hence their careers have been knocked back disastrously.

the satellite was to view our planets ice formations, the information of which would have been a great help to dealing with global warming.

i wonder how many conspiracy theorists will now believe that the launch was sabotaged to prevent the real extent of global warming being accurately displayed and accelerating/changing world policies? after all, in G.Bush jnr's own words, "I will not sign anything that resembles the Kyoto agreement............."
