the overall signature is good, but the text is that appealing.. seems sharp, maybe diff font / diff style?

Rasta a sprite is a model extracted from say a ROM or Emulator for example. Incase you don't know what a ROM or Emulator's are, an Emulator is a piece of software that Emulates a games console (Nintendo DS for example) and a ROM is a file type used for the games for these Emulators.
Before anyone says anything, yes they are illegal BUT only if you don't own an original copy of the game being emulated.

imo the font in v2 is alot better.

V2 is alot better, the font is alot better.
But there is somthing about it still, it might be the depth. Try making the sprite deeper.
Overall really good for a first.
