It's just just after midnight for me, so it is Chinese New Year's Day.  February 9th is 4703, the Year of the Rooster. 

Happy New Year to those who celebrate Chinese New Year! 

"Gung Hey Fat Choy" is the Cantonese New Year's greeting.  The literal way to say Happy New Year in Cantonese is "Sun Nin Fylock".
