Okay here is how i feel on this topic...i agree 100% with Bush only because if ppl see something in the movies they could try it in real life. The whole thing with animals should be banned in all 50 states...thats gross and wrong if someone is caught doing they should be thrown in f---en jail for life. I hate ppl who are into BDSM which involes animals in some case and there is only one place they can find this felgercarb is through porn and i will be in dc if there is ever a ralley on this subject becaue it is wrong and gross and porn should be stopped.

yes i will fullely admit i do watch it now and then and it sickens me each time i do...why do i go back...i really don't know and don't wanna know. but what i can say its wrong...

another thing with porn can you say you know for 100% that it is constenctial(sp) or is someone forcing them into it...you really don't know...a girl could go to the cops and they are not gonna believe her based on what...i was forced to do a porno...hell no they aren't gonna believe her. so thats one reason i'm against it...

plus porn can ruin families...it does and thats a known fact!

Beastiality isn't something people just get to know because of porn (and I in no way agree with it). Just like people aren't gay because of porn. Just look at Plushies and Furries. These people find dressing up as an animal exciting for whatever reason. Just like some people have certain sexual fetishes...they don't necessarily have anything to do with porn. I know a girl who has a weird thing with hands. Seeing hands that she finds attractive really turn her on. Now she doesn't watch porn, but seeing a hot pair of hands really does it for her...it is just something in the chemical make up of her brain.

I don't think there is anything wrong with porn (as long as precautions are taken and it is consensual). It certainly isn't my cup of tea, but after stumbling across some I'm not a bad person for viewing it.

A lot of my guy friends watch porn and openly admit to it. They are wonderful guys. They enjoy it...doesn't make them evil.

Of course there is going to be some porn out there that is rape, but I think it is safe to say that the vast majority of it is not. I think that it is pretty obvious if you've ever seen part of a pornographic movie that it is consensual...many times the woman is the aggressor. Especially porn shot nowadays. A good portion of the people involved are hired actors and actresses, and the few who aren't seem very consenting.

And I don't understand that argument that it destroys families....I really don't. Show me some statistics and maybe then I'll give some credence to your argument. There are some happily married couples who watch porn to help spice up their love life, and it certainly doesn't tear apart their families. Some guys watch it to release pent up sexual energy...especially if their wife isn't in the mood. It isn't healthy to keep that kind of energy pent up, because it could take a violent turn.

I just don't see why it is a top priority. Why aren't we instead fighting a war on poverty? Or trying to finish the war on terrorism? Or fight a war on alcoholism? Why all this focus on consensual, legal pornography?

Uh.. I'm not sure I see the problem here. If I decide I'd liked to be lathered in whipped cream and chained to the ceiling because I saw it in a particular porno... what exactly is the problem there? :blink: :lol: People use porn for their own 'entertainment' but plenty of people also use it to find new pleasurable ideas. They even make porn that is supposed to be 'instructional.' I, personally, don't see any problem with people using porn to expand their horizons. I mean, if people are finding themselves drawn to porn, there's obviously some part of their sexual being that wants to be expressed/explored.

That just seems like you're talking out of both sides of your mouth. Just doesn't make sense to say you'd 'rally' against something you partake in....

As was already stated, most porn out today shows two (or more ) very willing parties. I think this 'War on Porn' is going to go after the bigger production companies.. not small groups or individuals. These companies are marketing mass appeal porn.. What it comes down to is more moral judgement from our president.

Okay, personally, i think porn is stupid. But i accept the fact that heaps of people (mainly guys) watch it. And just because i think porn is stupid, that doesn't mean i think all the people who watch it are stupid. There's a difference. But i think it is pathetic of the Bush government to try and gloss over the war on terrorism by starting up a 'war on porn'. I mean, seriously, George Bush is a pathetic, hypocritical loser. To put it bluntly. No offense to any Bush fans out there ... but yeah. I think it's stupid that the American government is wasting time, resources and money on something that is going to have no effect whatsoever.

NEWSFLASH, it doesn't matter what you do, people (again, mainly guys) will find a way to get porn and if they don't then they could quite possibly turn violent. For a lot of guys, porn is an addiction like smoking or alcohol. And speaking of which, if the Americans must waste their time, resources and money, they might try banning something that actually hurts people (IE SMOKING AND OR ALCOHOL)

Its just stupid. There's no point debating it, because there really is no other answer. Its just stupid.
