I'm so sorry that I haven't replayed in a while but better late then never.
I have been gone why too long for this! She went to LA and Vaughn was in jail and she got him out. They got engaged and good news Jack didn't kill him. Syd met his mother who loved her at once. And now he has followed her to home togehter with a big ring. Could this get any better? AWESOME chapters! And thanks so much for all the PMs. Please post more soon this story is so awesome.

Once they were home and the groceries were unpacked, Sydney and Vaughn settled onto the couch to continue their previous activities of making out. “What was that?” Vaughn asked suddenly. Sydney looked confused. “Your stomach...”
“Oh the baby kicked.” She smiled.
“Really?” Vaughn asked excitedly.
“Yeah.” She laughed. Vaughn smiled and placed his hand on her stomach.
“It’s not doing it...” He said rather sadly.
Sydney laughed at this. “Well it doesn’t do it all the time... just occasionally.”
“Oh...ok” He said as he lowered his lips to her belly and kissed it lightly. “Hey baby, kick so I can feel it ok?”
“Vaughn!” Sydney giggled. “You’re such a retard.”
He raised his head and looked her in the eye. “Did you just call me a retard?”
“Yes.” She giggled harder.
“I cannot believe you said that.”
“Why?”
“Because that’s so... abnormal.” He laughed.
“I’m not abnormal.” She pouted.
“Yes you are.” He smiled. “But I love you for it.”
“Okay.” She grinned. “Where were we again?”
“Right here.” He said as he pulled her into his lap and kissed her passionately. The baby kicked again. “Wait a second...” Vaughn said suspiciously.
Sydney laughed hysterically. “Maybe baby doesn’t like it when Mommy and Daddy are horny.”
“I guess not.” Vaughn laughed. “Maybe we should just watch a movie for a while.”
“Okay...” Sydney reluctantly agreed. Vaughn slid off the couch, went to the TV and inserted a DVD and then returned to his seat, nestled beside Sydney. “This is nice.” She sighed contently.
“Yep.” He said as he kissed her head softly.
“Do you ever think about what it will be like once the baby is born?” She asked. “Like the three of us together.”
“Yeah I do actually. A lot.” He said.
“Yeah? What do you think about?”
“Well I think about marring you... being in the room when the baby’s born... you screaming at the top of your lungs.” He smirked. She laughed. “Then holding the baby... feeding, changing, bathing, everything. I can’t wait.” He smiled.
“Me neither.” She said. “God, I just... I can’t believe it.”
“Believe what?”
“This... us... everything.” Sydney sighed. “I never would have thought this was possible.” She sniffed, tears now coming to her eyes.
“Syd don’t cry.” Vaughn said.
“I’m not.” She sniffed. He looked at her. “It’s hormones!”
“Okay.” He laughed softly as he wiped the tears from her cheeks.
“I love you, so much.” Sydney sighed.
“I love you too.” He smiled.

“Syyyyyyd.” Vaughn whined.
“Vaughn you promised.” Sydney said warningly.
“But this is boring.” He groaned.
“Michael Vaughn we are picking out a crib for your child. Act interested!” She told him.
“Syd, I was interested – FOUR HOURS AGO. Good lord it’s just a crib.” He sighed.
“No, it’s not. How would you feel if the crib collapsed! Then you’d feel awful for not checking out all the possibilities wouldn’t you?!”
“Yes...” He admitted dully.
“Good, now this is the last store and then we’ll buy one, I promise.” She smiled.
“Thank god.” He sighed. “Then can we go home?!”
“Good lord you’re like a toddler.” She laughed.
“I’m just getting you used to the whining.” He winked.
“Oh so you’re being this way on purpose?” She smiled.
“Sorta.” He shrugged.
“Uhhh huh, I see how it is.” She laughed.
“Come on let’s go.” He said as he put an arm around her shoulders.
Yep, perfect, she thought contently.
