Chapter 1
Michael Vaughn had sung so amazingly that night that Matthew Gilmore, the most famous music agent in California, offered him a job.
Vaughn
“Well sir, this is a lot to think about, how much time do I have?” he asked cautiously.
“Not much, I leave tomorrow morning for L.A, you’re either with me or you’re not.”
“….I’m with you!”, and without a word to Sydney, he left with Mr. Gilmore.
Syd
I wonder where he went. That man walked up to him and then he disappeared. He’s just probably in the dressing room, I’ll call him. ‘ring ring’
“Hello?” he sounded far away, distant.
“Hey, where’d you go off to?”
“Oh Syd I’m sorry, I left and you… Oh I’m sorry.” Syd was confused, why was he acting like this? “Hey, I gotta go I’ll call you later O.K?”
“Yea, sure whatever.” Sydney had a bad feeling, it felt like someone was taking away her life, her mikey. She drove home and waited by the phone for hours, and then he called.
“Hey Syd, don’t talk, just let me. Okay, after I got offstage, this man an agent came up to me. He offered me a job, ME! So of course I took it, I mean who wouldn’t. The only problem is it’s in L.A. You know I would love nothing more than to stay here with you, but this is the chance of a lifetime. I’m going, we will be done recording in a few months and it’s off to tour for me. Now are you going to be there for me during this or not?”
After all of that how could she say no, she wanted to say no, to say ‘stay here with me, I love you’ but she couldn’t because she knew he was leaving.
“Of course I’m with you.” It killed her to say those words but they had to be said, she couldn’t lose him.
“Sorry I gotta go, bye.” That was the last time she ever heard a word from him.
One Year Later
Sydney Bristow had moved on with her life. She hadn’t heard from her best friend in over a year, so she made a new one. Francie Calfo, boy was she a character. Syd had never told her anything about her and Michael, only because when she and Francie met, Fran was obsessed with him! It was and still is insane. They have front row seats to his concert tonight and she can feel it, this was the night. They were going to be reunited. How cheesy does that sound? Reunited but really, she loved him and she would get to see him again, she sees him on TV all the time but it’s not the same. Now she has to stop thinking and start looking hot!
“Hurry up Syd we have to go!” Of course that was Francie itching to get there. She’s so exited that she might get to meet him, little does she know that there are naked baby pictures of him in her photo album. There, she looked amazing. She was gonna knock him dead!
“When they got to the concert there was only like 10 minutes till the opening act was over, her name was polish or something, Kinga Boratyn, that was it! Ok it was his turn to come out, she had never been so nervous.
“Hello Los Angeles!”
He began to scan the crowd when…
