Thursday December 11, 4:22 pm ET
NEW YORK, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Throughout the year, Wella® has taken note on the 'dos that were the biggest don'ts. Move over People Magazine, Wella has the results that you want to know - which celebrities had the best and worst hair this year. After the MTV Video Music Awards, the Emmy Awards, and the American Music Awards, Wella, the haircolor authority, polled consumers across the country to find out whose hair defines the trends, and whose hair defies them.
BEST FEMALE HAIRCOLOR
BLONDE:
-- Jennifer Aniston continues to be a good Friend to her hair and fans,
and she got the consumer seal of approval in two categories including
Best Overall Haircolor and Best Highlights.
-- Pamela Anderson and Britney Spears reign supreme and tied for Best
Blonde Bombshell.
-- Alicia Silverstone may be new to television, but she's not Clueless
when it comes to her golden haircolor. Consumers voted her Golden
Locks to be top notch.
BRUNETTES:
-- Jennifer Garner outsmarts the bad guys on Alias every week and beat out
the other brainy beauties in her category for Most Brilliant Brunette.
REDHEADS:
-- Redhead Debra Messing not only walked away with an Emmy for Outstanding
Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, but consumers also honored her as the
Most Ravishing Redhead.
WORST FEMALE HAIRCOLOR:
-- Getting Dirty on stage with her new black locks, Christina Aguilera's
new color was worthy only of Worst Female Haircolor.
-- With Pink's two-tone haircolor and black streaks, she was voted Worst
Color of the evening at the AMAs.
-- Always critiquing celebrities on their style, Melissa Rivers didn't
seem to have enough time to be properly primped for the Emmys.
Consumers gave her the award for Worst Red Carpet Hair.
BEST MALE HAIRCOLOR:
-- For overall Best Male Haircolor, the entire cast of Queer Eye for the
Straight Guy took home the win.
-- In the Whose Hair Would You Like To Run Your Hands Through category,
viewers voted for Kid Rock's chunky blonde mane and Rob Lowe's dark
locks.
WORST MALE HAIR:
-- Justin, we miss those curls. Take some notes from Beyonce about how to
rock your hair as well as Rock Your Body. At both the AMAs and the
VMAs, Justin Timberlake received the highest vote to Grow More Hair.
-- Boy it's a party, don't be afraid to let your hair down. It's the
biggest night for music and these fellas are Hiding Under Their Hats.
Adam Sandler and Tim McGraw come out, come out, wherever you are!
