Season 3 The 2- Year gap !

omg all of your theories are soooo good, mostly da shocking thing for me was the Syd/Vaughn thing. Like i know they're not really broken up well I HOPE SOO but ya i think it's the "telling" thing... Kalan's theory, but the time machine is really good too. :smiley:
OMG it's the Vaughn/Syd thing... i wuz literaly crying... omg ok they're still together.... PLZZZZ GOD! i hope JJ knows how much ppl want them to stay together :confused: :confused:
if it is actually 2 years ahead that would suck for syd/vaughn people but it would be good for the show...
 
Urgh...! Is this how narrow minded we are....... That time travel is all we can come up with??

Sloane DID NOT make a time machine...... If JJ even tries to use that plot then he's going to take the show down, just like Felicity.....

I like the Idea of showing Syd what the future could be like....They could work their way backwards in season 3 ending with Syd waking up for the Season 3 finale.....

As for the scar.... A C-Section scar is MUCH lower....... trust me on this.. ;)

And this time travel/warp thing is stupid!!

Why?

1. She was hurt after fighting Freplica and wearing a suit. Yet in Hong Kong she was in a sweater and magically healed...If she would have time traveled she would have been wearing the same thing and still be bloody.....

So lets say she DID time travel..... Here's my take on the Season 3 opening....


Jack, Irina, Syd and Vaughn.....singing:

"Let's do the time warp again.....!"

Sloane: "It's just a jump to the left....

JAck, Irina, Vaughn and Syd: "And then a step to the riiiiiiiiight!

I know I'm whining but I can't stand this - I've watched this show since day 1 and to have all these story lines from the characters I know so well just *poof* and finished...say it ain't so!!! Say Sydney's travelled in time, just send her back! Say she's having a drug-induced hallucination! I don't care, just put it back the way it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totaly agree there! it would horribly mess up the show if we're just jolted 2 years into the future!!! a) too much to explain; b) yeah, there are all these characters and their "mini-plots" that we have to see how that all plays out, like marshall and kerry, and dixon, and jack, and even the bad guys, like this is 2 years, what have sloane and irina been doing all this time?!?!?! (and sark of course) they just cant do it! it would just suck, and they would lose allot of viewers, not to mention the ones that would leave for the sole reason that vaughn is married to someone other than sydney... :thinking: there better be a GOOD explaination for this! and i'm pretty sure there will be, J.J., as i've said before, is not an idiot...hmm intersting...now that i've been thinking about it all day, the time travel thing is a little too animated series for alias...but just losing two years like that...that is WAY too twilight zone, and maybe twilight zone was J.J.'s fave show, but alias is not twilight zone...i can only say, he better have a GOOD storyline for how this all plays out....HOW CAN THEY MAKE US WAIT THIS LONG...IT'S CRUEL AND HEARTLESS!

Sorry to say, i don't agree with that right there. There are so many twists and turns that this plot line could take and still make the show kick-ass! You're telling me that you wouldn't watch if the show slowly revealed what everyone was up too? Like memory flash backs? I would. And, I think other people would too. About the whole time travel gig, Alias is a relatively normal show, y'know? Just normal people working as double agents for the goverenment. So, time travel doesn't fit there. Besides, there has to be an ulterior(sp?) motive. there always is. Time travel would be a little too far fetched and a little too Buffy-like.
I still say Syd was brainwashed, used by some unforseen evil agency (or whatever :rolleyes: ) and then dumped with her memory of the ordeal wiped from her mind, leaving her thought dead by everyone and alone in utter confusion herself. She could have been brainwashed to be some bad-ass agent for a rogue company, since she has access and knowledge of lots of super secret agent stuff, y'know? But, I somehow doubt Irina knew anything about this. She seems to love her daughter too much. ^_^
As for the Vaughn-being-married-thing, people do crazy and unreasonable things in a time of grief. Who's to say that little-Miss-Alice wasn't there for him and he turned to her for comfort and married her to try (unsuccessfully, I mean, did you see his face when he saw Syd in the motel room? Utter pain, grief, and misery :( ) to dull the pain of losing Syd? It could happen people, I'm not saying it did, but y'know... Or he could have worn the ring in honor of Syd, as someone said earlier. I can totally picture that happening too.
But, we'll probably be guessing all summer what's going to happen and then we'll finally see the season premier(sp?) and smack ourselves when we see what's going to happen, because it'll probably be something so reasonable and obvious and we didn't guess it. We have to start thinking outside the box, lol. :D
I'm done with the babbling now, lol. :blush:

They are just theories,which we are all entitled to....We don't make fun of what you think might've happened.They just posted a rule book for the forums. In it, it talks about respecting others views. You should go read it! Making fun of others is not R-E-S-P-E-C-T!!
 
she didn't directly make fun of any PERSON. THAT is flaming. a direct quote from the rule book "Flames attack the poster him/herself." There was no attacking of the poster. The attack was on an idea that has been made by more than one person. we are all allowed to voice our opinons on theories that we have as well as theories we think are bogus.

Politely voicing that someone's theory is bogus,not calling them narrow-minded, even if it was more than one person!!
 
i dont know what to think of this two year gap?! :confused: i really hope that it isnt some kind of time machine cuz that would just make everything screwed up and confusing!! but you guys have such great theories and i dont know!! im just lost, dazed and i think that if i try and come up with any more specualtions that my head will explode!! :blink: :o_O: :stretcher:

sorry to keep up on this b/c i know it's not something to be discussing in this topic...but i really don't see any problem with anything that she said. "is that how narrow-minded WE are" not (for example) "Kalan is that how narrow minded you are?! You can't think of anything better than that bogus theory?!" she's included herself with the rest of the community. now, i may not take offense to this simply because the issue at hand is not a theory that i deem plausible. however, i think that criticism of any theory - even if it is not as tactful as you might like - is game. she's making light of the theory; i invite you to do the same to my theory if you think it's bogus. i want to know what could be wrong with it and how i could make it better! to be honest, i think that the time travel theory IS narrow-minded.

I can see it now! Irina knows were Syd is and blackmails Vaughn into marrying her, but sh on't tellunti he tells everything he knows about the CIA and stuff like that! So, Vaughn gets her the info, but too much time has passed and everyone already thinks she's dead, so why not say she's been dead the whole time. And, Jack being Jack, wants to kno why in the world Vaughn married his ex, and they have it out and Irina uses the distraction to escape an release Syd ad dump her in HongKong whereshewakes up, nd Vaughn goes to get he and the season opens with...
Syd: "You're married?"
Vaughn: *twists the ring on hisfinger* "Yeah, actually I am."
Syd: *getting all teary and angery* "To who?"
Vaughn: "You're mother."
Syd: "You're married to my mother?!"
Confusion ensues.
