you know what i love? being at a bookstore. :smiley:

i could just spend hours there. i used to go to bookstores all the time with my father whenever we went shopping at the mall with my mother. she always got so impatient with me and my father whenever we were in the bookstores because we would literally be in there for hours. and i never really get to do it anymore now because none of my friends are really into books. whenever we're out and pass a barnes or a borders, i'm always like, "ooh!! let's go in!! just for a FEW minutes, i promise!" and they'll just sigh and be like, "fine..." and then they get all impatient once we're inside and i have to hurry up and find a book. i don't like being pressured. i just want to stay inside, sit on the floor in the middle of the aisle with books all around me, and just skim them all. and i LOVE the smell of new books. :woot:

oh god, am i crazy? i sound crazy. well, my name is crazy. hmm...i need a nap. :blink:
 
I love the smell of books too!! My friend and I bike rode down to a nearby Bookstar and we stayed there for over an hour just reveling in the smell and all the books....

It's a wonderful book!! I don't want to tell you the whole story, but it's like a modern day Romeo and Juliet except it's not as tradgic!!
 
Do you guys have Chapters? We have a Chapters in Halifax, and there's a Starbucks in it, with pouffy chairs, and you can sit and read your book while you drink mocha-choca or something. There's bean bag chairs all around and tables, and it's really cool. I love sitting in there and reading the books, though my parents get mad because I end up staying there for the whole day. Hehe. ^_^
 
I wish I could do that!! I love getting new books and just sitting in my room, reading all day. There are so many books I want to get but unfortunately I don't have the money. :(
 
I wish I could go to the library, but my parents rarely take me :( I love mine, it was recently remodeled and it has really comfortable chairs :D I cant wait till i can drive ^_^
 
i used to go to the library every weekend when i was little! i would stay in there for a good part of the day and then borrow a huge bag full of books. sigh...i miss my childhood. :confused:
 
I used to read soooooo much more! I'd go to the library every few weeks and check out tons of books! I have almost no time to read anymore :(
 
i know i never have time to read at home, but i always read during school, and while im waiting for my afterschool activities to start, and i used to not have time to go and check out books or buy them but now im in a litary circle at school so i dont have to check out books are even buy them, when im done with a book i just go into the room where we go for meetings pick out a book sign it out then go read it! and return it when im done, and i get extra credit for english!nice plus!
