Awesome update! I love the range of emotions you're putting Syd through. It just brings light to the fact her character is so complex...and you do it so well. And Protective!Sark is soooo wonderful! *sigh* I just love this story. :)

Aww Suzi that was a great update! I think for Sark's character - that once he's broken sufficiently in the game of love...that his admissions would be as intense as his character. So, I think you did a fab job! :)

Wow! I love the twist and it's so believable! You're right - even if Sark was feeling like meadows, flowers, and butterflies he better darn well not let anyone see it. Syd is playing a dangerous and illadvised game here. Does she truly understand what she's up against and the position she put...

If I were Syd I would feel like a huge, empty hole was in my being with Sark's admission. I'd feel pretty alone right now - even though my current predicament was my own doing. I dunno - even though this wasn't an evil!cliffhanger - no, to me it still was. ;) You've got me hooked, chica! :)
