Not from Canada I'm from Boston though I have always wanted to visit. My teacher is from Canada...He is a real jerk. But don't worry I am NOT blaming that on him being Canadian. Please don't think I'm racist because I'm not I have absolutely nothing against Canadians!

Tolkien:
in Ontario I know forsure that students learn french up until grade 9 where it is madatory, but at my school you have to take till grade 10. I think in the east coast they do to.

I had to upto grade 9. I stopped taking it after grade 9 becuase a) I didn't like it and b) I was never really good at it and c) there were better things to take I was never a really big fan of French and my French teachers have all been horrible so..

and btw, we have more Tim Hortons here than Starbucks
