When I was in middle school, there was this girl who I think tried to be too gullible. It got to the point where I think she was doing it for the attention, and not because she was just really gullible.
For example, this one kid would tell her the train was coming, so she would run over to the window to see. Of course it wasn't. Then he would do it again a few minutes later. Rinse/repeat.

Yeah, I think by that point she was faking it..Me, I'd stop and listen for a bit for maybe a whistle and then keep going with a note that that person was a bad person..And then lend him a pencil in some class and never get it back..
