A few minor mistakes in this article, but it's worth the read. From ExpressFashion.com- Can life get any better for Jennifer Garner? The 29 year old is gorgeous, in an approachable, girl-next-door kind of way, married to a hunky actor (Scott Foley of NBC's new comedy "AUSA"), and the star of "Daredevil," the current number one movie in America. Oh, and we forgot to mention that she's also Sydney Bristow, the kick-ass CIA agent on the hit television show "Alias." Not bad for a girl from West Virginia who once dreamed of becoming a librarian. But all this success does have a price, both on the positive side and the negative side. Of course wealth, recognition, and the chance to act, which she says has "always had this kind of fascination for me," make up the perks of the job, but a constant work schedule, brutal physical training and not much time for her husband and two dogs are the hardest part. Garner admits that while she loves the amazing opportunities she is getting at the moment, it does make for a tough home life. "The hours are relentless, but it's so boring to talk about how hard you work," she says with a laugh. But for Garner, her schedule is jam packed everyday with an early morning workout, line memorization when she comes home, and then additional work on the weekends. "We all work hard. I'm at work 80 plus hours a week." And she rarely gets to see her husband. "We do, technically, live in the same house, but usually I get up while it's still dark and come home after he's gone to bed," she says ruefully, but with an air of determination. But her hard work has paid off in many forms. Getting in shape for her role as Sydney Bristow helped her become Maxim magazine's Sexiest Woman of the Year, and Jennifer Garner maintains serious abut her training. "I work out as many mornings as I can, usually five days a week but never more than an hour," she says, setting a standard the rest of us are hard-pressed to follow. "I don't take a week off because it's inconvenient, or I don't sleep in because I'd rather. I get up and do it." Fortunately, her husband is making his way up through the Hollywood food chain himself, so the pair have an understanding and acceptance that this is the way their lives are going to be for a while. "We don't have a ton of time together, but we just know that this is what are life is going to be like for a while," Garner explains. "We make it happen whenever we can. For example, the cast [of "Daredevil"] went out to dinner last night, and I said, 'I'm sorry guys, but I have date,' and went home to be with him." In fact, life is pretty darn good for Garner right now, with the exception of one little thing. She really wanted to be in "Chicago" to hone her dancing and singing skills she used when she started her career. "I can't even stand it, I'm in so much pain that I wasn't in 'Chicago.' Even to be in the chorus," she grimaces. "The one time that I've had real envy of someone else's career was with these musicals. I grew up singing and dancing and I can hardly stand it!" Despite her disappointment, at least this proves the theory that no one has a perfect life, although Jennifer Garner is coming awfully close.
