The limit for non-animated avatar dimensions has been changed from 90x90 to 100x100 pixels. This should allow people to use LiveJournal icons without scaling them down, as AliasALIAS (among others) has pointed out.

For now, the premade avatars in the gallery will remain 90x90. Also, the maximum dimensions for animated avatars remains 65x65.
