Possible class combo names

First off let me state my knowledge on the way the devs plan to implement this is limited.

Also, I am making more than a few assumptions regarding the gearknight class as I really have no idea about how it is to be used.
Another assumption is to assume that the primary/secondary split will be 70/30.

These are my suggestions, not all will be winners and please, to all who have more knowledge feel free to amend or suggest alternative.

Hehe! I like the Chiropractor one..

For some reason, the videos gave me the impression that you couldn't chose the same exact class twice, but maybe you can.

Fighter/fighter: Soldier
Gearkngt/gearkngt: Mechoid
Healer/healer: Doctor

..and so on

they wont allow the "same class in double", right? Or did I miss something?

interesting list, tho!

Fighter/gearkngt: Musketeer
Fighter/wizard: Samurai

I don't understand these two. When I think of a musketeer I don't think of anything gearknight related whatsoever and when I think of samurai I don't think of wizards.

The musketeer thing is because they use muskets, AKA tech.

The samurai thing... OK, I don't get that one either. Assistance, aisle three! Assistance, aisle three!

Personally, I'd think...

Healer/necro - Witchdoctor (I dunno, it just seemed to fit for me)

Cleric/necro - Hypocrite? Insane? Confused? Definately something quirky needs to be here. I like where you're goin with this.

I had a post on the official forums talking about "marrying" secondary class abilities to primary, in the sense of... perhaps a Warrior/Wizard being able to light his sword on fire. Or maybe a Ranger necro having multiple pets. Meh, probably won't happen, but that'd be cool.

I always liked figuring out good names. Without really examining the Gemstone piece, I'll come up with some just for kicks. My names are in bold.

Fighter/cleric: Paladin
Fighter/healer: Cavalier

GEARKNIGHT...
Gearknight/fighter: Armsmaster
Gearknight/cleric: Templar
Gearknight/healer: Medic
Gearknight/necro: Darkgear
Gearknight/wizard: Technomancer
Gearknight/rogue: Infiltrator (I'd use Hacker but that might be too out-of-place)
Gearknight/Bard: Composer
Gearknight/Ranger: Forester

CLERIC...

Cleric/fighter: Monk
Cleric/gearknight: Tekpriest
Cleric/healer: Mendicant

Wow, this really wracks the brain. I like it. And kudos to the original poster who managed to come up with names for all of them initially. =D=

As to Fighter/wizard being samurai, I know its a streach but follow my (warped) logic.
Samurai were known for their skill in combat (ie the heavy fighter lead), but were also know for thier courtly knowledge and their mystical nature. This could be interpreted as to their practice of "enchanting or imbueing" of the sword or the practice of chanting to place protective blessing upon themselves.
And being that I put mage in the secondary, my belief is that being the lesser of the two it would make the spells more of a self-focused nature (ie blessings, buffs, and enchantments).
So there lies my skewed logic... not always the best, but it works for me.
