Lucky people. I'll have to be in school by 8 but I get out at 2:35...or is it 2:53 because of some stupid extension of time due to new teacher contracts?
I'm not possitively sure what classes I'll be in for freshmen year. Assuming I pass all the regents (some test they give usually to hs students in nyc) I skip a year. Except for SS. Evil 6th grade teacher never put me in the AP class. So I'll be taking:
-Math B (Erm...everything in nyc is screwed it so they mixed trig, algebra n geometry together...and this is the second part of it.)
-Honors Biology (Could be ap actually but i don't know if my earth sci regents credit will contribute to it)
-AP Spanish (I've been taking it since 1st grade!...didnt learn much from 1st-6th though)
-Latin (Yep, yep...I have to take a modern and a classical language)
-English (Erm I really don't know...I am again in an accelerated class. But I'm going to some good hs n they don't exactly want you to have so many credits. This would allow you to basically stop taking most of my classes 10th or 11th grade...legally I can after I get a certain amount of regents credits. It's not like I'm not taking AP classes though.)
-Health (required kind of pointless subject)
-Gym (God help me, they have a slave driving gym teacher. Don't think I can mile for warm up!
Don't get me wrong i pretty good at sports but a mile?)
-Honors European History Part 1 (Not part two! stupid 6th grade teacher)
-I assume I'll be taking some sort of extra curricular. ART! They better not put me in some duffer class like art or music appreciation. The appreciation class...eck.
So this is based on alot of assumptions...I could have applied for like math team or math/sci/ss research. But they haven't notified me about my acceptence. Those aren't out till third round acceptance letters 4 hs come out. which is round may.
I still have to take a bunch of 8th grade test, which I again assume I will pass. It'll be ironic if anybody in the class I'm in doesn't pass those.
