With lyrics like those, how can you not like SOAD? Jokes aside, what does everyone think about this band? It's got a fairly bad rap, but alot of their songs have good points and motives. (If you can find them.) While the whole "Hey I'm famous, I should do something good" routine is over done, SOAD has done some pretty cool things... And their lyrics are a pretty... ermm.... Fresh?

I steer away from the politically-driven songs, but I do like these guys. Some songs are very humorous, some are very adrenaline-extreme...some both. Their style is constantly shifting which makes them a unique band in the metal spectrum.

Also, YTMND has a field day on some of their lyrics. The one you quoted, for example:

Derek Jeter caught a pie!
