Was I the only person who found the entire thing just so incredibly dull.... Sure Heath Ledger was good (Although I still prefer Jack Nicholson). But who can take Christian Bale's ridiculous gravely Batman voice seriously?
The dialogue was dreary and uninspired.... The plot was paper thin, I mean everyone knows the plot, we have seen exactly the same thing in the 1989 release, there was no new added depth or anything.....
The original release made a nice job of creating a dark atmosphere..... This one just seemed like it was trying far too hard and just ended up a pretentious mess.....

Overall 4/10
