Yeah I mean I hate to say it, but as odd as it may sound, Danny and Sydney knew each other really well. Their relationship, though only two and a half years old, was very progressed. You saw in her apartment and in his there were floods of photos of both of them and each other's possessions. He was on her answering machine. He read his medical journals at her place.
About the only thing he didn't know was that she was a spy. I'm sure she knew his family, and he knew as much about hers as she knew. I would LOVE to see a connection and I think there is one, I always did, and I can't wait!
