Alias the movie?

They don't know if there is going to be a movie. J.J. Abrams told TV Guide that if there's ever going to be a movie, it would most likely be when (if ever) Alias is cancelled.

I agree with him that it would not be a good idea to try to do it while the series is in production. The X-Files movie really wrought havok with the TV series production (separated Mulder & Scully way too much) and they never fully recovered from it IMHO. I'd hate to see them try to similarly balance productions with Alias.

Totally and positively right, VH. If I'm not mistaken, Star Trek movies usually followed the end of the series, including spinoffs.

but hwat hte movie be bout anyways if they come out with one? each ep is always diff and there is no way u can make a movie..therefore i think there will not be a movie=/

Well, speaking hypothetically, Alias gets cancelled. The movie could be like the finale, where Sydney ultimately fulfills her CIA job, she gets a normal life, etc.
That's what I'd assume.

I think a movie would totally destory it....it should stay a drama on TV and keep captivating it's audience EVERY time it comes on....I love the cliffhangers!!!!!

If they made an Alias movie, it should be a trilogy like the Matrix....and leave the first two as cliffhangers, that would be totally awesome....but a trilogy would be the best!!!!!

The characters on the movie would be totally developed already and everyone would wanna go see it!!! Even if they haven't seen the episodes, they would still TOTALLY be interested
