I don't remember the last really decent vampire movie I saw, in fact . . . other than the #Hammer horrors with the fabulous Chris Lee as Dracula, I've yet to find a true vampire movie that really gets the fear flowing.
There are loads of fun vampire movies around - Fright Night (both version), Bram Stoker's Dracula (Gary Oldman saved that one from disaster), I enjoyed Daybreakers, and I love the Blade films. But they're not vampire horror movies. . . . we'll ignore the whole sparkling generation of vampires (they're horrors of a sort and not in a good way) but don't you think it's time we got a really decent #vampire horror?
