Okay, so this is just something I wrote during English, and I thought I would share it
Love in Waiting
For two years I waited,
hoping you would return.
I wanted to see you.
It was from you I’d learn.
Who I truly was,
Alive inside of me,
All just for you.
Within you, I’m free.
For two years I waited.
Wanting you to return.
Everyday I wold see you,
and my love for you burned.
The bond that between us,
seemd to soften my heart.
When I found you were gone,
My world fell apart.
For two years I waited,
Knowing you would return.
Though unseen everyday,
My stomach would churn.
The prophet foretold it.
I knew he was right.
But when you were gone,
I could not see the light.
For two years I waited.
Maybe you would return.
I saw, and I loved you,
but my feelings did turn.
I ignored your memory.
I fell in love with another.
What happened between us,
floating away on a feather.
For two years they waited,
wishing she would return.
All four minus one
for her only did they yearn.
All excepting that one,
The man she cared for.
She fell body and spirit,
and he’d shown her the door.
